here!!!) .. I still(?) like Mudhal Mazhai !!!!!(never has a HJ song lasted this long on my comp !!) been loopin it ever since I know the song 'Manasa' from 'Munna' ... a telugu flick ... exists ! Mudhal mazhai has this HJ touch ... (as usual) .... n all parts of it resemble more or less his songs (he refrains from copying others' tooo often :P) .. Mahathi is one singer I instantly fell in love with in this song ! I prefer her vocals to Hariji's (wut's 
wrong with me ??) ... I've never bothered to pay as much heed to her other songs !!!!! 
but .... her aalaap at 2.10-2.14 mesmerises me ! .. The beats r tooooo similar though (HJ) ... n the 'spanish'-kind backings .... only he (or Chinmayi !!!) can decipher ! 
Another song I've been goin crazy about recently(?) is Kaatre en Vaasal from Rhythm ..... oh my !!! wut a beauuuutiifull raga ! soul-stirring renditions ! evlo sonnalum kam hai ;) ... n another .... is Sudum Nilavu ...(Thambi) which only Vidyasagar can do justice to ... supported by Harini n Unnikrishnan(the best pair ... excluding hariji-sadhana of course !!!!!) ...The female chorus backing is tooo dulcet to miss ! Reethi gowlai is something that made me think Durbari kanada might not be the best ragam in town ;)

But i feel that she was at her best in "pudichirukku". I somehow love that song..
